How are you today?
First up, here is a comment from Battle.Maiden from Google Business
I was looking at the website, and although small for now, is really simple to navigate. I love how it's free from adds and has no popups. The recipe books look amazing and I can't wait to start trying some of them out. I can see it's a young business, but it has great potential! I hope more people will give this site a chance. Good Luck guys!
Thank you Battle.Maiden - that’s very kind of you.
Secondly, although the website has been running for some years now, we have the problem that:
This all means that, without a database, expanding the site to where we want it to go is almost impossible.
Please note: We will never include third party advertising on our site to fund our database.
Our mission is to have a clean-looking, easy to navigate eBook site which offers a great reading experience for our readers, as well as offering 80% instant return (excluding bank fees) to our authors.
But what exactly is a Database?
I will attempt to explain what a database is for those who don't know.
You should view a database as a (very) sophisticated spreadsheet.
Down its length you have all your customers, authors and books.
Across the columns you have all the different categories you require.
These tables are then linked together through the MySQL Database.
Let me give you an example.
I cannot show this example on smaller screens as the example is to big.

This is only a very small portion of what we are planning. But as you can see, unless you are an expert in PHP coding and MySQL Database design and construction, it is very complicated to us mere mortals.
If you have read up to here, you too are as excited about our new database as we are. Authors can add their books automatically, be paid immediately on purchase, and can change their selling price any time they want.
Customers can access their books from anywhere in the world, on any device with full HD resolution without downloading the full book, (Thereby saving their monthly data quota.) For example - the 10 volume recipe books are over 212MB in download size. Customers can access all their recipes with a fraction of the download capacity.
Although ... they will have the option to download if they want.
Bottom line. We will only use a reputable company to build out database, of which we have already identified one. We require $AU60'000.00 to complete the task.
When you donate, we will keep you up-to-date with the progress of the database. Once completed, you will be the first to receive a membership number.
All memberships are free to everyone, but it's just nice to know that you are at the top of a fast-growing company list. *Yay!*
Last two points:
What I have described above is nothing near the size of the database we are planning. We have plenty more to offer out customers and authors - but ... as it were ... I don't want to spoil the surprise.
And lastly, We trust our customers as we would like them to trust us. All proceeds from your kind donation will go toward our very exciting new database. In the meantime, please feel free to browse through our articles and free recipes.
All the best for now
